Based in Leatherhead in Surrey, Tree of Growth offers workshops and courses.
Relaxation is not always easy to attain. Our 6 week Relaxation Course offers extensive and detailed information together with various techniques to learn and incorporate into our daily lives. The aim is to attain the stress free exsistence as much as we possibly can. Looking much closer at what we take for granted . Observing our breath, body, mind emotions as well as using various visualization meditation relaxation and breathing techniques. This is the course for you If you find it difficult to relax as this course teaches you an awareness of your body and techniques to use in your daily life.

Why relax?
In this 5 week course we are going to learn how to relax and look deeper into how our body works. We will explore in detail taking a fresh look at what we may take for granted.We are going to start by looking at our breath and how it assists in our relaxation. We will learn yoga breathing techniques and use them throughout the course.
We will explore how the mind, emotions and feelings affect our body. We will become more aware of what relaxation is at a deeper level and how to attain it.We will incorporate gentle yoga stretching,visualization and meditation techniques.
When we are relaxed our body functions at its optimum. Our inner organs relax,less strain is put on them and they work better than when we are stressed. Our immune system works better warding off illness
Our mind is calmer enablng us to think clearer and be focused. We are less likely to react to the normal stresses and strains of life and more likely to respond in the way we choose
We are then more able to connect with our stillness within and live our lives truly in the way we choose
