2012 Workshops and courses

6 and 10 weeks course  Exploring Meditation: includes Relaxation and Stress Management techniques.Approx 1 and half hrs each session. To be held in Reigate Yoga Anana Centre from the 15th March 2012 from 7.30 til 9.00pm.  10 week course (6 weeks plus optional 4 weeks) Cost £75-6weeks. £55-4weeks.*Discount £110-10weeks

 Wellbeing Workshops held monthly Saturday afternoons Dates and venue to be announced in February for 2012.

 The Wellbeing workshops  last for 2-2 1/2 hrs and explore our inner selves and inner power. An opportunity to grow and explore ourselves on a deeper level and devolop our skills. Includes Creative Visualizations,Shamanic Techniques  Meditations and Creative enterprises. £10

Why Relax? information about relaxation cours

In this 6 or 10 week course we are going to learn extensive and detailed information on how to relax and look deeper into how our body works. We will explore in detail taking a fresh look at what we may take for granted.We are going to start by looking at our breath and how it assists in our relaxation. We will learn yoga breathing techniques and use them throughout the course and how meditation works for you.                                   

 We will explore how the mind, emotions and feelings affect our body and why and how meditation can help. We will become more aware of what relaxation is at a deeper level and how to attain it.We will incorporate gentle yoga stretching,visualization and meditation techniques. We will explore how our intention and mind focus and awareness plays its part in our daily living

When we are relaxed our body functions at its optimum. Our inner organs relax,less strain is put on them and they work better than when we are stressed. Our immune system works better warding off illness .     Our mind is calmer enablng us to think clearer and be focused. We are less likely to react to the normal stresses and strains of life and more likely to respond in the way we choose   We are then more able to connect with our stillness within and live our lives truly in the way we choose
